The Fila is a breed of large dog developed in Brazil. They are often used as guard dogs and cattle dog. Belong to the category of molossoid beside breeds like the boxer, bulldog and, among others. It is one of 10 Brazilian breeds known. The others are the pampas bulldog, bulldog Brazilian Ovelheira Gaucho Brazilian terrier, deerhound Pampa, tracker Brazilian podengo Creole, Greyhound's campaign, his beard and shortened version, the barbudinho.
